The Floral Gin is a London Dry Gin, created using a dual-process approach, vapour infused and boil-in flavours. Five times distilled.
This gin recipe was created in December 2016 by Gin enthusiasts Matt Van Wyk, Richard Kolbe and their secret distilling Scientist whose name must remain well, a secret!
Ginologist is a young premium award winning South African gin brand, manufactured in Johannesburg. In the 2 years of Ginologist existence they have collected an astonishing 9 medals at the Michelangelo Awards, SA Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards and the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London.

Botanicals: Italian Juniper, Orange blossom, Rose Geranium and a blend of 11 spices
Nose: Juniper, Rose Geranium coming through strong reminiscent of Turkish Delight with undertones of Orange Blossom
Pallet: Juniper led, London Dry, but with a perceived sweetness from the floral infussion.
Finish: Long and lingering. Starts sweet but finishes with a satisfying dryness
